Terms of Service Summary

The complete Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement governing your use of Shanty BB. This summary highlights major provisions but does not replace or modify the complete Terms.

By creating an account, you acknowledge that:

• You meet the eligibility requirements, have legal capacity to enter a binding contract, will provide accurate information, and will comply with applicable laws. Sections 1 and 4.
• Shanty BB is an online technology marketplace connecting independent Hosts and Renters. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Shanty BB is not the owner, operator, lessor, property manager, outfitter, guide, insurer, employer, partner, or agent of a Listing, Host, or Renter. Rental agreements are entered directly between Hosts and Renters. Sections 1 and 3.
• Listings, Bookings, payments, fees, payouts, cancellations, refunds, identity verification, and User responsibilities are governed by the complete Terms and incorporated policies. Sections 5–11.
• Outdoor properties, equipment, access, and activities involve risks. The complete Terms contain provisions addressing assumption of risk, release of liability, limitation of liability, indemnification, and insurance. Sections 12–16.
• Your conduct, communications, reviews, ratings, and other content must comply with the Terms, Community Standards, applicable laws, and intellectual-property requirements. Sections 17–21.
• The complete Terms contain important provisions concerning dispute resolution, arbitration and its opt-out procedure, class-action waiver, governing law, venue, notices, termination, and surviving obligations. Sections 22–29.
• Shanty BB may revise the Terms and provide notice as described in the complete Terms. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise. Section 1.6.
