A traditional lease is usually multi-year and covers the whole property for one hunter or group. Land Leases on Shanty BB™ are shorter access bookings — day, weekend, or week — so you can try new ground without a year-long commitment.
What does a Food Plot listing include vs. a Blind or Stand listing?
A Food Plot listing is access to managed ground (usually planted clover, brassicas, or corn) where the renter brings and sets their own blind or hangs their own stand. Blind and Stand listings include the setup — the host has already built the blind or hung the stand.
Do I need to bring my own stand or blind?
Depends on the listing. Most Hunting Stand and Hunting Blind listings include the setup. Food Plot listings usually don't — you're paying for access to the ground. Read the listing description for specifics.
Are the exact coordinates shared before booking?
No — for landowner privacy, the exact GPS coordinates and access instructions are released only to the renter after a booking is confirmed and payment is captured. The listing shows the general region and nearest town.
What if I harvest an animal — do I owe the host anything extra?
Not on Shanty BB™. Some external lease arrangements charge trophy fees; on our platform your booking price is the full price. No trophy fees, no harvest fees.
